about

With "Pearls", the playful electronic trio AGGREGAT is releasing the second single from its album "Origins", which will be released in February.

Delicate synthesizer pads, embraced by lyrical cello sounds, are enveloped by electronic percussion sounds with ever-increasing energy in a danceable deep house guise. Bass synthesizers and four-to-the-floor bass drums complete a hopeful track reminiscent of underwater worlds: The rhythms create a steady and hypnotic movement, inspired by strength and physical sensation underwater, comparable to the environment of a pearl diver. In search of rare pearls, symbolic of special and inspiring moments of a seemingly insignificant individual who longs for identification and stability in hectic times.

The video for "Pearls" was shot in Hamburg with the dancer Janessa Jenkins (Lübeck).
The dance represents water, its impetuous anomalies and aggregate states, in a sensitive and expressive choreography.
